The Meters foi uma banda funk americana, fundada em New Orleans e liderada por Art Neville (que junto com os irmãos Aaron Neville, Charles Neville e Cyril Neville formaram a lendária The Neville Brothers). Atuando de 1965 até 1977, nunca alcançaram grande sucesso popular, embora sejam considerados um dos progenitores da funk Music.
